Posterity

I spend a lot of time online.  Most of it, in shadow - viewing but rarely contributing.  There are exceptions...  I am a member of linkedin, and I do run my own "family members only" web site.  I've asked questions on various forums, and have even answered a few as well.  However, if a person could gather all the information I've put out there, they would learn surprisingly little about me.

After reading a post made by a friend of mine, my wife suggested that I should keep a blog.  I've thought about it at times, and even did keep one for a while on my family site.  The traffic on that site being so low though, and locked out to anybody with whom I shared no DNA, I became disinterested, since none of my friends would ever see it.

So, I'm going to give this another try...  this time, where you can read it.  Most people won't care, but for the few of you who know me, and for the few of you who want to know more about me and what I'm up to, this will be the place.
